Group Classes

Asheville fitness classes with a different focus.

Group classes offer shared movement practice with clear guidance and room to listen to your body. You’ll build strength, balance, and coordination while learning how to move with more awareness.

These classes are ideal if you want to have fun and play! Our last class was around tree climbing, for example.

1:1 Training

Not your average fitness coach near Asheville.

These sessions are built around you. Your body, your history, and how you’re showing up that day. We work with movement fundamentals, breath, and awareness to build strength, stability, and confidence.

Sessions adapt to current capability, whether you’re healing from pain or deepening your practice.

Workshops are offered periodically OVER the year.

They offer a deeper dive into specific themes like breathwork or mobility. They’re designed to slow things down, explore new ideas, and leave you with tools you can use on your own.

Workshops change throughout the year and are open to all experience levels.

What To Expect

Let me tell you the story of the bad ankle.

At some point, you hurt it. Maybe it healed, maybe it didn’t. But over time, you started to move around it. You compensated. You avoided certain positions. You told yourself, I can’t do that anymore.

That story sticks.

Not just in your mind, but in your movement.

Alchemy, in this work, is the process of noticing those stories, burning away what no longer serves you, and rebuilding. Not by forcing change, but by paying attention. When awareness is there, old patterns start to loosen and new options appear.

I take a truly holistic view of movement and health. That means we consider things like emotional state, energy levels, menstrual cycles, breath, hydration, nutrition, and recovery. We also pay attention to small but important details, such as foot strength, vision, balance, and posture. These details often influence how safe, strong, and confident movement feels.

You can expect to slow down enough to notice what your body has been holding onto. You’ll be guided to let go of habits built around fear, pain, or limitation, and replace them with movement that feels better.

FAQs

  • In general, traditional personal training can push you too far or may not take into account those who have chronic conditions. When we consider the body as a whole, then we can begin to rebuild. I will never say I can heal a chronic condition, but I will do my best to support you as you work to reconnect and build your own strength.

  • If you’re not in the local area, then a virtual 1:1 session will be the best option. If you are local, and unsure, let’s hop on a chat to see if 1:1 or Group Sessions might be best. I strive to always provide a personal, heart-led approach so I want to be sure to talk to you about it.
